Overview
Migrating from Xero to DualEntry is simple and secure. With our AI-assisted onboarding process, you can expect to have all your historical data and documents transferred within 48 hours. Once you grant DualEntry access, we’ll handle the rest in the background, ensuring your data is fully synced, and your Chart of Accounts is ready for review. Rest assured, no changes will be made to your Xero data during this process.

Step-by-Step Guide (~2 mins to complete):
1. Invite a New User
To add a new user, your role must include manage users permission. Adding new users, including your accountant, is free of charge in Xero.
2. Access Settings
Click on your organisation name in the top left corner, then select Settings.
3. Select Users
In Settings, click on Users.
4. Add a New User
Click Invite a user in the top right.
5. Fill in User Details
First Name: DualEntry
Last Name: Migration
Email: [email protected]
6. Assign Advisor Permissions
Under Business and accounting, select Advisor to grant Advisor access to DualEntry.
7. Send the Invite
Click Send invite to finish.
8. User Accepts the Invite
The new user must accept the invitation within 14 days, or the link will expire.
What if I manage multiple Xero organizations?
If you manage multiple Xero organizations, repeat the steps above for each one to ensure that all of your entities are fully set up in DualEntry.
Data Security and Privacy
Your data security is paramount to us. By granting DualEntry access, you’re creating a secure, encrypted link between your Xero organisation and DualEntry. We use AES encryption for both data at rest and in transit, and we follow SOC2 compliance protocols to ensure the highest level of security.
